HTC has recently announced the extra large version of their HTC Sensation. It’s going to be appropriately named ‘HTC Sensation XL’. The XL sports a 4.7” display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The original Sensation has been promoted by HTC as the best multimedia phone that money can buy at the moment. HTC has recently teamed up with Dr Dré to implement Beats By Dre audio into its phones. HTC is really putting its mind to building multi media phones.
The new Sensation XL is not a Sensation with an extra large screen. The original Sensation has a dual core chip, but the XL only has a single core chip. The chip is, however, clocked at a higher speed: 1.5GHz. The XL also has a lower resolution than the original Sensation.
The Sensation XL will have 768MB of internal memory and 16GB of storage memory. It comes with an 8 megapixel camera, which you can use to record video at the full resolution of 720p. It is powered by Android 2.3. Its dimensions are 132 x 71 x 9.9 millimeter. It weighs a modest 163 grams.
The Sensation XL may not be superior to the original Sensation, but it still has Beats Audio and a larger screen. When going for the Sensation, compare specs and make your choice.
