The HTC Vigor’s name was dropped for the first time a few weeks ago, when Nenamark put up a benchmark of it. The HTC Vigor was said to get a 1.5GHz CPU. This trumps HTC’s own flagship by 0.3GHz. Not too much was known about the Vigor and nobody has ever seen any images of it. Up until now that is.
Droid Life has somehow managed to get their hands on the very first image of HTC’s Vigor phone. That certainly looks like a very nice phone! A few weeks before showing us this image of the phone, they have also leaked some early rumors on the phone’s hardware specifications.
HTC Vigor Hardware Specifications
As I mentioned above, the phone will likely run at 1.5GHz. And we’re talking about a dual core processor here. The screen will likely be a very respectable 4.3” with a 1280 x 720 resolution. That resolution is very impressive. It will also support LTE connections. It will also have Beats Audio, thanks to HTC’s merger with Dr. Dre’s audio technology. The camera will be 8 megapixel. The internal memory will be 1GB large.
All in all, I’d say this phone might be enough to take the throne from the HTC Sensation. The Vigor either equals or beats the Sensation in pretty much every single way. The Sensation is an awesome phone, but my one pet peeve about it is that it has much less internal memory (768MB RAM) than its fiercest competitor: the Samsung Galaxy S II (which as 1GB RAM).
