Everybody was expecting to see the iPhone 5 officially announced a few days ago. Instead, Apple presented an enormously beefed up version of the iPhone 4: the iPhone 4S. While the iPhone 4S is not the iPhone 5, it is still safe to say that Steve Jobs went out with a bang, because the iPhone 4S is selling like crazy!
The pre orders for the iPhone 4S recently went live. And in less than 24 hours, the iPhone 4S has been completely sold out! For example, Telco AT&T has reported that all of its 200.000 iPhone 4S phones that were available for pre order, were pre ordered in a matter of hours.
Not everybody tech and phone blog has responded positively to the iPhone 4S. It has the exact same design as the iPhone 4. It does have a very impressive new feature, though: Siri. It’s also got much more impressive hardware specifications. But still, people were disappointed that this is not the iPhone 5.
Apple’s fan base doesn’t seem to care, however. Just like with Apple’s previous iPhones, people are lining up to get their hands on the iPhone 4S. If you wanted to pre order it… too bad, you’re already too late. And it won’t be until October 14th that it will actually be delivered to all the people that pre ordered it.
