Did you ever think you’d see the day that you’d get to slam your eyeballs on a smartphone so large that you’d have a hard time distinguishing it from a tablet?
Fret no more, because the day is here.
Samsung has reveiled their Galaxy Note smartphone at IFA. They’ve also reveiled a 7.7” version of the Galaxy Tab. But that one is less ‘breaking news’ in my opinion.
The Galaxy Note has a massive 5.3” display at a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The display is super amoled. What is noticeable about the Note is that it supports both regular touch input from fingers as well as from a stylus. The screen is large enough, so why not!
It runs on a 1.4GHz processor. The back camera is 8 megapixel, while the front camera is 2 megapixel. The casing and display aren’t they only things huge about this phone. So is the battery (2500 mAh). I’m sure the display will eat through the battery fairly quickly. But we will have to wait and see when it comes to the Note’s battery life.
The Galaxy Note is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread which has Samsung’s very own TouchWiz UI interface layered on top of it.
Just look at it!!! It’s gorgeous!!!
